Tyrica Jenice Goff, Ringleader in American Express Fraud Case, Gets Stiffest Sentence


The ringleader of the American Express travelers' checks fraud scheme–which ripped off more than $650,000
from T.J. Maxx, T.J. Maxx
HomeGoods and Marshalls stores in Orange, Riverside, Los Angeles, San Diego and San
Bernardino counties–was sentenced today to seven years in
state prison.

We told you here that Tyrica Jenice Goff, 30, of Los Angeles, had pleaded guilty to charges from a 110-count complaint against her and five others.

Her crew members also pleaded guilty, but their sentences were previously handed down.

Donte Gray
, 33, of Los Angeles, was sentenced to two
years and eight months in state prison. Jazmine Williams, 22, of Hawthorne got 210 days in jail, as did Brittany Ellessee Myvett, 18, of LA.

Nedra Sherii Beard,
41, of Los Angeles, got 60 days in jail and three years of formal probation, while her daughter, Niesha Sherri Johnson, 25, of Lancaster, received 120 days in jail and three years of formal probation.

It's nice that family members can work together like this.
