Tustin's Curtain Call Dinner Theater Closed; Building For Lease

It's curtains for Tustin's Curtain Call Dinner Theater. The 30-year-old institution took its final bow last month, and is now closed for good. On its marquee is a “For Lease” sign.

I'm a bit late in posting this, only hearing about its shuttering a few weeks ago, never having the chance to try it. Yesterday I took this picture.

Not counting Medieval Times, Pirates, the few murder mystery shows, and that magic act at the Rib Trader, Curtain Call was the only one of its kind in O.C. It featured a rotating schedule of Broadway-style shows performed while you eat prime rib and teriyaki chicken.

If you've been to a show, share your memories, stories, eyewitness accounts, tasting notes, the good or the bad. The comment board is open.

The website, by the way, had this cryptic farewell note:

“After 30 years in existence, the Curtain Call Dinner Theater will be closing its doors. Due to circumstances our of our control, the last performance of “Oklahoma!” will be on November 7th. We want to thank all of you who have supported us this part year and a half.”
