If you were at the Ben & Jerry's scoop giveaway last month at The District (the only Ben & Jerry's scoop shop in OC), you'd know it was insanity. Now it's Häagen-Dazs' turn. Today only, the chain is giving out a free kiddie size ice cream in either a cup, sugar cone, or cake cone for anyone who cares to get something for nothing but doesn't care about waiting in a long-ass line to get it.
The give-away starts at 4 p.m. and stops at 8 p.m.

Yes, the queue will undoubtedly be long, but seeing as how there are at least four Häagen-Dazs shops in Orange County, it may not be as insane as Ben & Jerry's was. Still…you have to ask yourself: how much is your time worth?
