In March, May and July of 2012, Orange County's Freddy Galeana thought it was safe to sell more than 75 grams of methamphetamine to a buyer.
Freddy was wrong.
The buyer works as a confidential law enforcement informant and Freddy, who is using a taxpayer-funded private defense attorney for legal representation, signed a guilty plea admitting he's a drug dealer.
For making $2,220 in three meth deals, he is facing a mandatory minimum prison sentence of 10 years and he'll never be allowed to receive food stamps, carry a gun, vote or hold public office.

U.S. District Court Judge Andrew J. Guilford has not yet scheduled a sentencing date inside Orange County's Ronald Reagan Federal Courthouse.
Galeana–who is listed in various records as having been born in either 1981 or 1991 or 1992–remains locked in the custody of U.S. marshals inside the Santa Ana Jail, where officials believe the defendant is 32 years old.
