Thomas Burke Pulver, Held in LA County Child Molestation, Worked in Many OC Daycares

Normally a man being arrested for allegedly molesting a family member in Los Angeles County would not warrant much attention among Orange County law enforcement.

We have plenty of home grown sickos and perverts to keep us occupied, thankyouverymuch.

But when it comes to Thomas Burke Pulver, multiple OC agencies alerted the media and the public over the weekend about the allegations.

That is due to the multiple places where the 36-year-old La Mirada resident brushed up against children in Orange County.

For instance, the Newport Beach Police Department wants you to know that since September 2013, Pulver has been working in the Child Care Center at Hoag Hospital. That has not produced any additional charges against the suspect, but anyone with information about creepy encounters within Newport city limits is asked to contact Detective Kristen Fox at (949) 644-3776.

Before taking the job at Hoag, Pulver worked in child care at UC Irvine from July 2008 through September 2013. University police are now collecting any allegations there at (949) 824-1885.

The Irvine Police Department announced over the weekend that Pulver worked at the Kiddie Academy daycare center on Noyes Avenue between January and June of 2008. Irvine Police are collecting tips at (949) 724-7200.

Pulver also worked at Matt Kline Headstart in Costa Mesa from December 2007 to April 2008, so police there are collecting evidence at (714) 754-5360.

He reportedly worked in child care at Cal State Fullerton from early 2005 to early 2009.

Held in a Los Angeles County jail in lieu of $2.4 million bail, Pulver so far faces eight felony counts that could send him to state prison for 15 years to life.
