This Week In Food: Pocket Burger, Making It Mexican, and Taco Maria's Last Run

Yaaaay! It's Friday! Let's take a look at this week in food before the weekend begins…

Edwin reviewed Pocket Burger Shack in Sunset Beach, and then he named the Crazy Rock at TruSushi the drink of the week. He also gave us a list of the 10 best pork dishes in Orange County. Get on it!

Gustavo went to Taco Nazo in La Habra for Hole in the Wall, and then he told us to immediately try the beans, rice, and fried cheese dish at El Fortin. Last he brought us another interview from Chef Geeta Bansal where she spoke with Jean-Luc Rabanel – the gypsy king of cuisine in Provence.

Dave wrote about delicious ceviche and drinks at Tijuana's equivalent of Beverly Hills for our Tijuana Sí! column. Then he shared the sad news that the Taco Maria truck will have its last run at the SoCo Farmers' Market this Saturday. Fear not though – they are just settling into brick and mortar. And last, he gave us another great dose of Dave sass, and wrote an open letter to white people who have jumped into the expensive juice craze.

Anne Marie interviewed Brooke Des from one of her favorite spots – Sidecar Doughnuts and Coffee. Sarah went to Lona's City Limits Cantina for her Long Beach Lunch. Dave Mau told us about an incredibly amazing sauce found at Gabbi's Mexican Kitchen in Orange. And very last, I visited with Roland Rubalcava and learned how to make Tacos de Papa for Make It Mexican.

Until next week, have a good one from all of us at Stick a Fork in It!
