This Week In Food: Naugles, Pizza Cake, and a ReSURGEnce

Hello, dear readers, my I can't believe it's October already. Let's take a look at what happened this week in food.

Edwin had his mind blown, and not in the way you're thinking, at A&O Kitchen+Bar. He gave us the restaurant roll call for September and told us to try the meatballs from Pirozzi. He also told us about a new place opening called “Dude, Where's My Curry” to which I say hmm….hmmm.

Gustavo visited the UCI sensation, Le Diplomate, and announced that Naugles is making a comeback in Fountain Valley. Charles fawned over the poki bowl at Pokinometry and introduced us to the pizza cake. Yep, just think about that for a second…pizza…cake.

Anne Marie interviewed Lei Shishank of Sugar Blossom Bake Shop. She announced the 50-year celebration of Masterlink Sausage & Meats and told us to try the barra vieja from Anepalco's Cafe.

Dave salivated over the ribeye from Selanne Steak Tavern. Sarah went to The Prospector for her Long Beach Lunch. And we were joined once again by Ryan Cady so he could eat/drink something strange – this time it's Surge.

Until next time, have a good one, from all of us at Stick a Fork In It.
