This Week In Food: Good Bad Eats, Hoppiest Place on Earth, and That Ain't Pho!

Hey guys, welcome to the fiery depths of hell. Allow me to distract you from melting for just a brief moment with some delicious foods…

This week Edwin visited the new, El Amerikano in Fullerton and fell in love. He also announced the opening of Ocean Market Grill in Long Beach. Gustavo went to Civic in Santa Ana for his Hole in the Wall review and told us to sip on the Codigo at Anepalco's Cafe. He also showed us an article in a British newspaper that teaches its readers how to properly indulge in nachos.

Charles shared an update on Marky Mark's nerdy, microbrewing show. Then he went on a couple rants, which is his most favorite thing to do. First, he asserted that there's nothing wrong with loving bad food and second, he rolled his eyes at hip restaurants serving non-pho dishes and calling them pho.

Anne Marie spoke with David Pratt of Brick and said we should eat the lunch at Big Thunder Ranch in Disneyland. Cleo wrote about understanding hops and flavorants in beer, as well as what she considers the hoppiest place on earth. Shuji previewed Cismontane Brewery's 4th anniversary party going on all weekend. And Sarah took us to Brix at the Shore for her Long Beach Lunch.

Last, we were joined by our news writers for some stories. Gabriel San Roman told us about the cooperative grocery store that might appear in Long Beach and R. Scott Moxley told us about the restaurant owner suing Taco Bell over their 'Live Más' campaign.

Until next time, have a good one (and stay cool!) from all of us at Stick a Fork In It!
