Edwin visited James Republic in Long Beach and named it one of the best restaurants in the city. He announced the opening of Dickey's BBQ Pit in Brea and it smells goooood. Then he told us that Burger King in Japan will begin serving cocktails, and last he shared the highest bid for Colonel Sander's suit.
Gustavo went to Ikram Bakery in Fountain Valley for his Hole in the Wall review. Then he named the Smoke and Mirrors at Hopscotch the Drink of the Week. He shared part two of Geeta Bansal's visit to Mesamerica, and last, he made the Coney Dog at LinX in Orange one of the top 100 dishes in Orange County.
Michelle gave us a recipe to make watermelon-sriracha sangria, told us that mochi donuts are now available at Mitsuwa in Costa Mesa, and shared the incredible idea for a new In-N-Out secret menu item – “Monkey Style.” Anne Marie previewed Fleming's Sunday Brunch. She interviewed Jonathan Solis of SHOR American Seafood Grill for her On The Line column, and she told us about the Anaheim White House's new Italian steakhouse menu.
Sarah went to Pee & Gee Fish Market for her Long Beach Lunch. Dave Mau told us how to throw a drunk out of a bar. Other Dave revealed a contradictory menu board in Villa Park that offers Freedom Fries and French Toast. And last, web editor, Taylor Hamby, and I made a video about the crawfish eating contest at the Long Beach Bayou and Blues Festival.
