This Week In Food: Chicken Recall, Sriracha Fumes, and How to Not Be an Instasshole

Guys! Guys! It's time for another food round-up. Let's take a look…

Edwin went to Wei Shian Noodles in Irvine for his print review. He told us that Pier 76 moved a little ways down Ocean Blvd. (but their food is still great!) and he introduced Del Taco's new line of breakfast tacos, which is some kind of rebuttal to Taco Bell's breakfast tacos. Don't worry Del, we still like you best.

Gustavo visited Paul's Famous Burgers in Costa Mesa and told us that they have damn good breakfast burritos. He also gave us some bad news – apparently guacamole is going to be A LOT more expensive this Cinco de Mayo. 🙁 Grrr.

Charles told us that Irwindale's city council unanimously declared the Sriracha factory fumes to be a public nuisance. He spread the announcement that Tyson recalled tons of chicken for possibly having just a little bit of plastic in them….yay! Last, he shared the comeback of Regular Ordinary Swedish Meal Time…and I have no idea what that means.

Anne Marie told us to eat the most glorious pizza called The Prima from TJ's Woodfire Pizza. She did a Q&A with Bev Lazo, a Hell's Kitchen contestant and local ninja chef. Ninja chef? Anyway, she also spoke with the boss ladies of Hapa Cupcakes for her On The Line column.

Sarah took us to Taqueria el Pacifico for her Long Beach Lunch. Cleo gave us a rundown of beer types, beginning with lagers and ales. And last but not least, Sierra Wright-Ruiz told everyone how to Instagram their food without looking like an asshole.

Until next time, have a good one, from all of us at Stick a Fork In It!
