The OC Fair is going on right now, as I'm sure you're aware. But did you know about the festival The City of Cypress is hosting this Saturday? This year is the 35th year for the annual Cypress Community Festival.
It'll be at Oak Knoll Park (5700 Orange Avenue) from 9 a.m.-5 p.m., but starts with a pancake breakfast at 7 a.m. by the Kiwanis Club. There will, of course, be festival food from vendors throughout the day as well as a Chili and Salsa Cook-off.
In fact, there's enough activities from a baseball game to a K-9 Demonstration to a car show to live bands to children's rides to rival, well, The OC Fair itself.
Check out the website for more info or just read the flyer, which should tell you all you need to know.
