Leave it to an old ghost story to give you the heebie jeebies, or the creeps, or whatever you want to call 'em. One thing's for certain, you'll have trouble sleeping tonight when you check out Westminster Community Playhouse's stage play The Uninvited, which is based on the Dorothy Macardle book Uneasy Freehold (and no relation to the 2009 film The Uninvited). Here, two siblings have moved to a quaint country home only to discover that the one amenity not included in the realtor's walk-through tour was a supernatural presence. Experience the atmospheric setting, bumps in the night, and spooky special effects to chill your bones— not like you were going to sleep tonight anyway, right?
Fridays, Saturdays, 8 p.m.; Sun., Oct. 18, 2 p.m. Starts: Oct. 16. Continues through Nov. 1, 2015
