A new restaurant serving American grub has opened in Old Town Tustin. It’s called…wait for it…American Grub. It’s located on El Camino Real next door to The Swinging Door Saloon. It sells the same kind of bar burgers you’d find there. In fact, according to the Facebook page for American Grub:
“American Grub was created out of a demand for our amazing burgers and sandwiches at The Swinging Door and The Salty Dawg Tavern.”
So, it is the same burgers, just in a more food-centric setting. And because American Grub opens at 8 a.m. on the weekends (hours before The Swinging Doors opens its, er, doors) it offers a breakfast menu that includes a loco moco among egg plates, skillets, and breakfast burritos.
