A punk show at the Yost Theater? Now there’s something you don’t see everyday, yet here comes a concert calling out to the regulars of punk dive bars like the Doll Hut and Malone’s Pub. From Redondo Beach, long-time rock n’ rollers Smut Peddlers headline what is stated on the show flyer as their last for a while. Meanwhile, ’70s LA punk outfit The Gears provide their legendary combo of punk/surf-a-billy music to the stage, as Fang & The Weeleez round out this fantastic line-up. This is all-ages show in celebration of Smut Peddlers’ own Julia Smut’s birthday, so come out and raise a beer cup (or a soda, if you’re under 21) to her honor.
