The Hula Girls are men, in fact four talented musicians whose gentle if arch-clever mix of genres into something called hulabilly goes just right with the legendary if nutty exotic drinks and whimsical tiki-culture décor at what must be one of the Girls’ favorite local venues. “Hula! Hula! Bang! Bang!” and other inspired song journeys indeed explore the same fun and melodic island world as contrived by the iconic Don the Beachcomber restaurant, and might best be enjoyed with a Rum Barrel, Nui Nui, Scorpion, Navy Grog or Jungle Jetsetter. Don hosts this special pre-Thanksgiving swingin’ ukulele, sweet steel guitar show with, of course, a comely hula-dancing ensemble. Strict dress code: Hawaiian casual.
