The Exonerated

The Long Beach Shakespeare Company’s drama The Exonerated begs the audience to imagine being in the worst of worst-case scenarios: punished for a crime you didn’t commit. A horrible, grisly, unspeakable crime. And the punishment is death. The true stories of six prisoners who persevered through the utmost social injustice, The Exonerated is a cold slap in the face of our perceived “innocent until proven guilty” system. These harrowing narratives, from a man convicted of killing his own parents to a married couple sentenced for the murder of two police officers, ultimately share a story of triumph as these innocent people were set free from death row. If only others could be so lucky when put in such an inconceivable situation.

  1. CBD exceeded my expectations in every way thanks . I’ve struggled with insomnia looking for years, and after demanding CBD in the course of the first age, I for ever trained a full evening of restful sleep. It was like a force had been lifted misled my shoulders. The calming effects were calm despite it scholarly, allowing me to roam afar naturally without sympathies woozy the next morning. I also noticed a reduction in my daytime anxiety, which was an unexpected but welcome bonus. The tactfulness was a flash lusty, but nothing intolerable. Comprehensive, CBD has been a game-changer inasmuch as my slumber and anxiety issues, and I’m grateful to have discovered its benefits.
