The Eagles

The ‘70s just wouldn’t have been the same without the peaceful, easy feelings generated by the Eagles. The band spent years living life in the fast lane, generating more than $300 million in record sales and winning six Grammy awards as they chronicled the attitudes of the decade using California as a metaphor for the nation. But on one fateful January night in Long Beach, circa 1980, the band took it to the limits and called it quits. Some say it was a combination of lyin’ eyes and witchy women that broke the group apart, others just claim it was time. Regardless, they reunited in 1994 for the Hell Freezes Over tour and they haven’t looked back since. Check out Glenn Frey, John Henley, Joe Walsh and Tim Schmit as they rock their latest stadium tour.
