As I first reported about a year ago, Taverna Blu, a Greek restaurant originally from San Diego was being planned for Irvine Spectrum. It opened this past week.
On the menu are the same foods as the Del Mar location. Saganaki served flaming on a skillet. Souvlaki. Baklava for dessert, with ice cream. The full menu can be seen here.

The restaurant is located next to Pieology, another new restaurant that opened recently there, and Wahoo's, the old standby.
