The 16th annual Taste of Anaheim will take place on Thursday, May 12 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the GardenWalk on Katella Avenue. Tickets are $40 in advance, $45 at the door, and that includes tastes of food from all the restaurants.
The tasting includes recently-opened and soon-to-open restaurants such as Clancy's Clubhouse (in the Anaheim Resort) and the Ranch, the upcoming steakhouse and live country music venue on Ball Road.

While most of the local city-based “Taste” festivals feature only sit-down restaurants, Anaheim's includes festival foods, such as an OC Greekfest booth. (Let's hope they bring their outstanding galaktoboureko, the cream-filled phyllo pastries.)
Also, there will be beer–Noble Ale Works, which just opened several months ago in the industrial zone west of the Honda Center, will be there representing Anaheim's contribution to OC's growing (and excellent) craft beer scene. Note that beverages, including beer, are not included in the admission–you're going to have to pony up if you want a drink.
Entertainment includes two tribute bands–one to the Eagles and one to Journey.
