The nice words keep piling up for my coming Taco USA: How Mexican Food Conquered America–and I'm not talking about “random” reviews on Amazon or Yelp. All the main book-reviewing journals have praised the rant, the latest being the daddy of them all: Publishers Weekly.

The money quote in the review is that the book is an “entertaining nod to culinary and cultural histories” and “as much as some Americans may protest Mexican immigrants, they're in love with Mexican food.” It didn't get a starred review like my previous effort, Orange County: A Personal History, but that's okay–it's a good review! Yay!
