People, people, people: Drink responsibly. Don't drink before picking up your kid and her friend, and definitely don't then stop at a Taco Bell parking lot and pass out due to your drunken state, leaving your poor daughter to yell for help. Or maybe that's just how they rear kiddies in Indiana?
An Evansville woman is arrested after police say she was so drunk she
passed out behind the wheel of her vehicle, and her 10-year-old daughter
and 11-year-old friend had to call for help. Sonya Schaum faces
charges of drunk driving with a passenger under the age of 18. Police
found Schaum Wednesday night in the Taco Bell parking lot on
Evansville's east side.
Police say the 10-year-old's father, attorney Scott Danks, says Schaum was suppose to pick up the girls from
Skate World and take them home, but they ended up at Taco Bell.
