Sweet Lady Jane's Instagram feed is full of pictures of their cakes and celebrities, and celebrities in front of their cakes. And some aren't even posted by them. Some are reposts from the Instagram feeds of the celebrities themselves. Sofia Vergara recently posted a pic of herself in front of a Sweet Lady Jane's triple berry cake and captioned it:

Point is the bakery is the Spago of cakes. The rich and/or famous seem to favor it in the time the bakery has been in business on Melrose Avenue in West Hollywood for 27 years. It also has branches in Santa Monica, Encino, and now, Newport Beach.
The Newport Beach cakery opened this past weekend at 3732 East Coast Highway,
Corona Del Mar, CA 92625. So if you've been wondering how that vegan red velvet cake Ellen had for her birthday one time tasted like or why Oprah listed Sweet Lady Jane's triple berry cake on her “Favorite Things 2014”, now you needn't anymore: you can try it without leaving The OC.
