The Orange County Sheriff's Department sought the public's help this morning in finding a missing 26-year-old San Juan Capistrano woman who reportedly told a friend she was unhappy over a breakup with her boyfriend and wanted to overdose on drugs.

Sonia Gutierrez was last seen driving away from her residence in the 31000 block of Calle La Purisima around 1:40 p.m. Monday, according to Orange County Sheriff's Lt. Jeffrey Hallock, the department spokesman.
Before that, Gutierrez had repeatedly called a friend to say she was distraught over the end of her relationship while also mentioning the desire to overdose, Hallock said.
She's described as 5-foot-4, 140 pounds, with brown eyes and long black hair. She was last seen wearing a red long sleeve sweater and blue jeans. She was driving a blue 2007 Toyota Yaris with a California license plate 5WTK064.
