Some McDonald's in Northern and Central California including those in Sacramento, Stockton and Modesto as well as a few in Northern Nevada, have started offering any size of their McCafe Premium Roast Coffee for just a buck. QSR Magazine reports that you can overcaffeinate yourself any time of the day with the dollar deal, not just as a chaser with your Egg McMuffin. Coffee, as it turns out, is becoming a more popular drink option for Mickey D diners.

We'd be lying if we said that we saw it coming, but it does make sense when one considers that the $1-Any-Size soft drinks have proved popular with customers every summer since they started offering it some 3 years ago. Just like the Mighty Wings and the Egg White Delight, we predict this offer will also go nationwide…so long as people like cheaply priced coffee. Gee, ya think they will?
