A thunderous roar of guitar riffs will fill the OC Fair N Event Center for the annual SoCal World Guitar Show. The event is a six-string swap meet that doubles as a guitar lover’s dreamland, offering the latest styles and vintage treasures from domestic and foreign dealers. The show doesn’t restrict itself to guitars; a variety of banjos, mandolins, violins, and sound equipment will also be ripe for the pickin’. Considering the show is the same week as NAMM, there’s a good chance a guitar god could pop in for a quick look, and if history repeats itself, an impromptu jam session. The buy, sell, trade event will also feature appraisals, books, and clothing, and is co-sponsored by Vintage Guitar Magazine.
