Dealing with rummies running their boats ashore is nothing new for the Orange
County Sheriff's Department Harbor Patrol, but a 10:30 p.m. Wednesday call of the same near Seal Beach Pier did have an interesting twist to it.
Deputies believe drunken captain John Maxedone stole the 32-foot tub from Long Beach earlier in the day. But don't blame the skipper; he can't help it if he has sticky fingers.

See, the 51-year-old was already on parole for a vehicle-theft conviction at the time of his arrest, according to deputies.
Maxedone was jailed in lieu of $50,000 bail and a no doubt killer hangover.
Now he's really is maxi-done.
