Fancy low-rider Chevy Impalas lined the exterior of the Honda Center Saturday August 4, for Curious Entertainment’s Orange County Funk Fest.
It seemed as though there wasn’t an empty seat in the house as the event attracted people of all types and ages. Most of them stayed on their feet, feeling the funk throughout the entire show; at the same time it appeared this genre of music has been missed by the way the crowd reacted to old-school songs of these older bands.
Mary Jane Girls, The Dazz Band, Club Nouveau and Morris Day were part of an epic line-up and experience, showing Orange County, they got it better than the music of today.
