The Seal Beach Police Department announced it will throw up a DUI/drivers license checkpoint somewhere in the city from 6 this evening through 3 a.m. Friday.
The department is also among Orange County law enforcement agencies that previously announced it is running special saturation patrols aimed at impaired drivers through the holidays.

“In addition to DUI/drivers license checkpoints, you will also see us making lots of stops during this highly visible enforcement period,” vows Seal Beach Police Chief Joe Stilinovich in a statement. “If we suspect anyone is driving while under the influence, officers will show zero tolerance for drunk or drugged driving.”
Look tomorrow for a post on more weekend DUI checkpoints and enforcement operations in OC.
