OC theater lovers get a rare opportunity to truly go behind the scenes with South Coast Repertory's free open house this week. The theater company is offering backstage tours (stop and see the scene shop, prop shop, and costume maintenance and wig rooms), an introduction to the 2011-12 season, light refreshments and a meet-and-greet with new Artistic Director Marc Masterson. During the season preview, Managing Director Paula Tomei will discuss the “Take-Your-Seat” campaign to raise money for the Emmes/Benson Endowment Fund.
