Branching out from a duo to a gang of four is an easy transition for Huntington Beach-based rappers LD and Ariano, especially when you're working with two seasoned veterans of LA's underground hip-hop scene. Partnering up with DJ Flict and dynamic female MC/singer Medusa, the founders of local collective Technicali Sound are unveiling their new project–Return of the Dream Team–at the House of Blues Saturday.
While you probably never knew that OC hip-hop even had a dream team to begin with, we're confident that this tribe (two DJs and two MCs) is probably one of the best representations of how good local hip-hop gets. As evidenced by some tracks we posted by the group last
October (check them out here), the group's proclivity for hard-driven beats and harmonious flow make them a serious threat to those who rely simply on rapid fire rhymes. Saturday, RTD will be joined by LA hip-hop duo Soul Elevation along with the cold, hard beats of DJ Icy Ice.
