Not to be outdone by the Pieologies and Mozzas of the world, Sapori Ristorante which has been a fixture at Bayside Center in Newport Beach since 1989 is going to expand into a pizzeria spin-off.

The new pizzeria will occupy the vacant space immediately next door to the restaurant and will occupy 1,080 square feet, adding to the existing restaurant after the shared wall is eliminated. It's expected to serve, well, pizzas, but also will have a wine bar, daily specials, and gelato. It will be open for lunch and dinner.
