It's being widely reported today–including right here on Navel Gazing, like one minute ago–that Ron Paul is bowing out of the 2012 presidential race, or more accurately, ceasing any campaigning in states that have yet to hold their Republican Party primary elections.
Finally, there's the Libertarian Party. As the Weekly's R. Scott Moxley reported here on Navel Gazing on May 5, former Orange County Superior Court Judge Jim Gray is running as vice president for the party, alongside former New Mexico Governor Gary Johnson. If anyone means business about legalizing pot, it's Gray, who also backs a proposed ballot initiative in California to “Regulate Marijuana Like Wine.”
