Rock Bottom Perform at 420 Freestyle Rap Session on KUCI

It's not uncommon for a sufficiently skilled hip-hop crew to nudge their way onto college radio and spit a couple verses over the airwaves. But this video of San Clemente/Laguna Nigel rap trio Rock Bottom (featured in last week's Locals Only column) let's us know that the group's crazy-off-the-cuff skills are on a whole different level.

Sharing some time with their hip-hop colleague Lost Art (the dude in the white hat), Rock Bottom dropped in for a 420 Freestyle in-studio performance on 88.9 KUCI last year. Clocking in at more than 16 minutes, it seems members Eric Fernandez (aka Bumps the Goose Got), Tony Diggs (aka Elephant Pelican) and Nate Wolvin (aka Innate) might try changing their name to Top Notch. You can catch them next at the White House in Laguna Beach March 24 with Dubluva and Raw Blake.
