Reggae legend Gregory Isaacs died at the age of 59 at his home in London after battling cancer for a year, says BBC News.
The “Cool Ruler” was the purveyor of “lover's rock”–slow, dancey tunes that used hookey reggae downbeats with crooney R&B vocals.
