So you might have read this post I wrote up earlier this month about a Utah-based chain called Cafe Rio which has staked out Lake Forest as its first California outpost. Driving by this weekend, I saw that they're further along.
They seem to be adding a taller, more majestic facade to the previously flat retail space. But that's not the news I want to share. My pal and fellow foodie Brekkie Fan has again got the scoop that Cafe Rio is opening another outlet next to Avanti Cafe in Costa Mesa.
