Everyone knows who Bob Marley is, right? Alright, cool. Now that we've established that, fans of reggae in Orange County will be delighted to know that Marley's backing band, The Wailers, will be performing this weekend in Long Beach as part of the second annual Shoreline Jam Reggae Festival.

Taking place aboard the Queen Mary, the group that brought the world songs like “One Love,” “Buffalo Soldier” and “Get Up Stand Up” are slated to hit the stage at 8:30 this Saturday night.

Even though Marley has been dead for over 30 years, seeing The Wailers will not only play songs from their heyday, but will give fans the chance to see the reggae legends in action and who knows the next time they'll be back in the area. As you can see from the video above from a show earlier this year in Redondo Beach, the surviving band members (with a few new additions) still mean business.
