20 y.o. Man Stabbed to Death at Garden Grove House Party; 2 Other Men Stabbed

Raul Jose Alcala had been among more than 100 people attending a party at a home in the 12400 block of Darnell Street in Garden Grove, where shortly after midnight on July 28, 2013, a fight broke out in the back yard. Alcala was stabbed several times and later taken by first responders to UCI Medical Center in Orange, where he succumbed to his injuries.

Police investigators have exhausted all leads in the case but believe because it was such a large party someone might have information that can lead to the killers, according to Lt. Ben Stauffer, the Garden Grove Police spokesman.

Anyone who was present at the party, knows someone who was there or has other information is asked to call Investigator Farley at 714.741.5877. Anonymous tips can be left with Orange County Crime Stoppers at 1.855.847.6227 (1.855.TIP.OCCS) or by visiting occrimestoppers.org/how-to-tip/.
