See the update and the end of this post on Ramon Heredia's not guilty plea and upcoming court dates.
ORIGINAL POST, OCT. 8, 6 A.M.: Wonder what hurt Orange County's Ramon Heredia more: watching the San Diego Chargers lose Sunday night to the Oakland Raiders or being arraigned the next morning for allegedly breaking a bottle over a Cowboy fan's head in the Qualcomm Stadium parking lot parking lot Sept. 29?
The 41-year-old has been identified as the first of two men who broke bottles over the heads of Dallas fans. The second remains at large.
Judging by the video, Heredia is pretty large himself:
He's fighting charges of assault with a deadly weapon in connection with the post-game brawl.
UPDATE, OCT. 8, 11:21 A.M.: Ramon Heredia pleaded not guilty at his arraignment in San Diego, City News Service reports.
If the 41-year-old is found guilty of assault with a deadly weapon, his punishment could range from probation to four years in prison, according to Deputy District Attorney Adam Gordon.
Heredia, who is free on $30,000 bail, has a readiness conference scheduled for Nov. 18 and a preliminary hearing set for Dec. 9.
