This is an odd pairing. Stryper, an 80s glam metal band known for its unabashedly Christian leanings and Railroad to Alaska, a local metal band known for its hard charging sound. We don't know what to think, other than Railroad to Alaska is not to be missed. The metal quintet, known for its face- melting guitar work and singer Justin Suitor's epic howl, won the top prize at last year's OC Music Awards for best new band.
