Every few months, a different young rapper takes college campuses by storm and music critics are left wondering why. This time around, that musician is a white guy with dreads named Post Malone. Frankly, Malone is better than most of the other dorm room guys who come and go, and while only time will tell how long he’ll be around for, the splash he’s made even before his first real album drops can’t be overlooked. “White Iverson” can be heard on and off college campuses across the country, although it’s not entirely clear how he’ll fill an entire set (his SoundCloud currently has eight tracks). Rumor has it that he’ll be featured on Kanye’s new album, so see him now before he blows up.
