Patrick Bijan Balahan Held for Allegedly Asking 18 y.o. Woman Dirty Questions, Flashing Junk

A 20-year-old Irvine man was jailed Thursday night after he administered a “survey” to a female student in the Orange Coast College parking lot that allegedly included sexually explicit questions and a look at his junk.

Patrick Bijan Balahan was held in lieu of $500 bail on an indecent exposure charge.

The 18-year-old of Huntington Beach was outside her car in the OCC student parking lot off Merrimac Way at Fairview Road around 8 p.m. when she was approached by a young man who explained he was conducting a survey. After the dirty questions and package flash, she contacted campus security, according to a statement from Costa Mesa Police Lt. Greg Scott.

Officers confronted Balahan, who claimed he was an OCC student, admitted he had contacted and questioned the woman and denied he had exposed himself, according to Scott, who adds campus security detained him anyway because he fit the description of a man about whom other female students had filed complaints.

Balahan was turned over to city police and booked into the city jail. The investigation continues, and anyone who has information is asked to contact Detective Sergeant Stephanie Selinske at 714.754.4933.

The fact that OCC would attract a new generation of creepers is no surprise when you consider campus history. Way back in 2005, before most of you were born, our Best of 2005 edition singled out the school for having the “Best Glory Holes.”

Where the men's restrooms continue to be notorious dens of anonymous fellatio years after the school newspaper published an exposé on the problem complete with a picture of said hole with mysterious stains dotting its perimeter. Not even the introduction of metal walls has discouraged horny men from punching out holes with baseball bats. Ew . . .

What was left out of that write-up: the cited student newspaper photo showed the eye of a young woman peeping out of the stained glory hole. So, uh, yeah, ew indeed. May also explain that campus-wide pink eye outbreak.
