As an ad recently posted on Craigslist shows, Lady Maude, who is a manx and thus was born with no tail, apparently stowed away on a neighbor's U-Haul rental truck in Patterson, Oregon, before a move was made to Southern California.
The driver saw the cat jump off of the truck in the Garden Grove area on Thursday, according to the Oregonians, who describe Lady Maude as 6-8 pounds, “very easy to catch” and “seriously the nicest cat you will ever meet.”
