Ono Hawaiian BBQ Returns To OC With The Opening Of A La Habra Store

This Friday in La Habra, the Ono Hawaiian BBQ chain is opening what their calling their first store in OC. You might be thinking, “Wait, isn't there an Ono in Tustin?”

If you're thinking of the one on 17th Street, that one's actually called Ono Ono. But if you're thinking of the one at The District, you'd be right–that was an Ono. But that turned into an Aloha Hawaiian BBQ nearly 8 years ago.

So when the Ono in La Habra opens (1350 S. Beach Blvd, La Habra), it will be the only one of the 52-store chain to open in OC.

As such, there's going to be some special things going on for the grand opening on Friday, September 25. There will be a ribbon cutting at 12:30 p.m., a Hawaiian dance performance from noon to 2 p.m. and a raffle of fifty $100 gift cards from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.

If you don't win a gift card from the raffle, the restaurant is offering a buy-one-get-one-free deal that day, from 11 a.m.-9:30 p.m.

Before long, the La Habra store won't be the only Ono in OC. One is being planned for Buena Park at 8309 La Palma Ave.
