What seemed like hours after the news that Nadya Suleman's father had expressed concern for his 14 grandchildren because, he claimed, his daughter could be driving under the influence with some of them aboard, Octomom checked herself into an Orange rehab for Xanax addiction. “Sometimes she starts drinking vodka, whatever, so maybe she should not be driving,” Ed Doud is reportedly heard saying on a voicemail message.

RadarOnline obtained the voicemail Suleman's father is said to have left with Gina M. Bryson, the Rossmoor mother who often volunteered to watch Octomom's children.
“Gina, this is me, Ed. I'm worried about Nadya,” Doud is heard saying. “She's not answering
the phone. And I really worry about her. Sometimes she starts drinking vodka, whatever, so maybe she should not be driving.”
“I could pick up the kids tomorrow, I mean the big kids. I don't know what to say. I have no idea what to say. She cannot drive the kids and drive herself and drive back here.”
The Radar report includes a photo of Octomom passed out–allegedly from too much drink–and a video where Suleman is seen conceding to Bryson she is too drunk to drive her children home. Bryson has said she has seen Suleman drunk on wine and her apparently drink of choice, vodka and cranberry juice.
It should also be noted that Natalie lost her driver's license in
February for driving the wrong way on a one-way street and then failing
to appear to her court hearing.
After Bryson emerged as one of the nannies who expressed concerns to authorities about the kids' living conditions in their then-La Habra home and the alleged sexual abuse of a younger sibling by an older brother, porn performer Suleman and her ex-adult film star manager Gina Rodriguez turned to the gossip press to accuse the accusers of essentially not being nannies at all but gold diggers. None of those seeking safe care for the children have made money off their allegations, which have produced official investigations but no charges to date.
One of those gossip sites, Harvey Levin's TMZ, broke the news that into the Chapman House Drug Rehabilitation Center in Orange
over the weekend after acknowledging she's become dependent on Xanax, a prescription mother's little helper that helps fight anxiety.
Oh, speaking of the children–hey, anyone remember them?–care for them was reportedly split between three nannies and two friends while momma detoxes. Those would presumably be real nannies and not the nannies who are not nannies at all after they finger Suleman for putting 14 young human lives in harm's way.
