All good things must come to an end, and so it is that the Orange County Underground Burlesque Society is hanging up their nipple tassels and bidding a fond adieu to their faithful fans. According to OCUBS founder and producer Kate Fox the show will go on hiatus in 2011 leaving their home at the Hunger Artists Theatre Co. to step back and take some time to consider the future. Over the years we’ve grown watching these ladies take their clothes off in humorous ways, and now we’re stuck paying tribute to them the only way we know how, by watching our less attractive selves strip down each night before climbing into bed, weeping.
