Silent Disco: OC Pride Week Kickoff. Grab a pair of light-up headphones, tune in and dance to one of three DJs. 8 p.m. Segerstrom Center for the Arts, 600 Town Center Dr., Costa Mesa.

SUNDAY, JUNE 16
Trixy Rene Burly Tips Revue Presents “Stand Up Stand Out.” Sultry women, men and drag queens stage an amazing Pride cabaret show. 7:30 p.m. Original Mike’s, 100 S. Main St., Santa Ana.

MONDAY, JUNE 17
Wine & Paint Night. Have enough wine to get artsy and unlock your inner artist. 7 p.m. Decades Bar & Grill, 195 W. Center Street Promenade, Anaheim.

TUESDAY, JUNE 18
Drag Bingo Night. Play along with your favorite OC drag queens. 7 p.m. JT Schmids, 2610 E. Katella Ave., Anaheim.

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 19
The Vixen Show Celebrates Pride. A pride-themed, cabaret-and-dinner show is followed by FLIRT night in the 21-and-older club. 7 p.m. VLVT Lounge, 416 W. Fourth St., Santa Ana.

THURSDAY, JUNE 20
To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything! Julie Newmar. Sashay into a special Pride Week screening of the camp classic. 7:30 p.m. The Frida Cinema, 305 E. Fourth St., Santa Ana.

FRIDAY, JUNE 21
Flex Fridays. The hottest 21-and-older club celebrates Pride with go-go dancers, killer drinks and outdoor patio hijinks. 9 p.m. VLVT Lounge, 416 W. Fourth St., Santa Ana.

SATURDAY, JUNE 22
Orange County LGBT Pride. This year’s event kicks off with a free parade and festival that are open to all ages and is capped by 18-and-older entertainment that requires a ticket. Expect music, dancing, comedy, drag and glitter everywhere at the free events. Nighttime performers include Deborah Cox, William, Kristine W, David Hernandez and Zee Machine. Parade along Fourth Street between Ross and French streets, Santa Ana, 11:30 a.m.; festival between Third and Fourth Street and Bush and French streets, Santa Ana, noon; performances in Yost Theater, Santa Ana, 6 p.m. $30-$150.

OC Pride Official WTF After Party with Laidback Luke! Clubbing with superstar DJs and Ru Paul’s Drag Race Queens for those 21 and older. 10 p.m. Time Nightclub, 1875 Newport Blvd., Ste. B245, Costa Mesa.

SUNDAY, JUNE 23
OC Pride Official Closing Party at Blow Pop Sundays! Celebrate another successful Pride with entertainment, go-go dancers, and local and Ru Paul’s Drag Race Queens. 9 p.m. The Circle, 8901 Warner Ave., Huntington Beach.

  1. Everything gay is overtly, or should I say pervertly over the top. But they want to be accepted as normal? Not hardly.
    Children in these peoples homes should be considered as in danger.
