OC Brew Ha Ha Festival Coming to Irvine Sept. 10

I'm not a beer drinker, but I full-heartedly endorse the suds renaissance our fair county is experiencing documented by Michelle earlier this year. In that spirit of camaraderie, I will most likely join the beer race (I'm a member of the Bourbon People) in their greatest local festival: the OC Brew Ha Ha, scheduled for Sept. 10 at Hidden Valley Park in Irvine.

Most of the local big boys will be there–Bruery and Bootlegger's, of course, along with Haven, BJ's, Noble Ale, and a chingo of others. Cost is $40, and comes with a festival glass, 10 four-ounce tastes, four seminars for nerds like me who love lectures, free food samples (although the food pickings right now seem a bit slim…), and–by far the most important thing for Southern Californians–free parking! More info over at Brew Ha Ha's website–see you there!
