Tomorrow, tens of thousands of people will descend upon downtown SanTana–and they won't all be hipsters or wabs! It'll be the annual Noche de Altares, the Día de los Muertos celebration co-held by Calacas Cafe and the Centro Cultural de México that's been growing bigger and bigger for the past decade to the point where last year's celebration went from the corner of Broadway and Fourth Street to Sasscer Park. This year, they're shutting down Broadway for the biggest Noche de Altares yet.
But, to paraphrase Robert Heinlein, TINSTAAFNDE–There's No Such Thing as a Free Noche de Altares. And while the event won't cost the public a dime, the cost of holding this amazing Día de los Muertos celebration is escalating every year.

Toward that effect, organizers have set up an Indie Go Go campaign to help defray the costs of Noche de Altares, having raised a paltry $2,000 of the $7,000 they sought despite an active Facebook and Twitter campaign. Did I forget to say that no one gets paid to run this event, so any money you may donate goes directly to the event? Don't be a cheap bastard, and donate NOW.
