Athenian #3 gets all the love around here (see here and here and here), but the secret breakfast burrito win in Orange County is at Troy's Drive-In on Lincoln in the Olive section of Orange. While the afternoon menu is pretty much indistinguishable from any of the other two hundred short-order grills splashed around the 714, the breakfast burritos are as close to perfection as they get. Bacon, chorizo, ham, choose your porky filling. The bacon burrito does have the advantage that the bacon drippings flavor the potatoes. Make sure to ask for some of the green pork sauce to be spread inside the burrito; it's as necessary to the experience as the outdoor, parking-lot adjacent tables.
Occasionally the grill isn't hot enough to cook the potatoes and you get that greasy taste, but 9 times out of 10 their breakfast burrito is the closest OC gets to Burbank's Corner Cottage, the gold-medal best burrito anywhere in the universe.
