What You Missed: UFC 104, Autumn Food Festival, Zombie Pub Crawl, Kid Sister, U2

Okay, so a whooooole lot of things happened this weekend. Like a lot. First up was the Zombie Pub Crawl in Newport Beach, where tons of fabulous zombies dragged themselves to Newps for the first ever undead pub crawl. Sponsored by LocalHipster.com, the all-day event featured plenty of braaaaaaains and beer. See the full set of awesome photos by Keith May right here.

AND THEN? WE WENT TO GO SEE U2! We made it out alive, as you can see. Bono: Still capable of making us swooooon. See the rest of the images here.

Now, after the jump: Many, many photos from UFC 104 and the UFC 104 After Party in Los Angeles, the Mitsuwa Marketplace Autumn Food Festival, Kid Sister at Detroit Bar… like we said, lots of things happened this weekend.

UFC 104 invaded the Southland on Satuday with a title fight at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Brazilians Shogun Rua and Lyoto Machida, the top two strikers in the world, battled it out in front of 16,000 fans, each giving it their best. Machida emerged victorious–however, it was a disappointment as many of the fans believed it was actually Rua who had defeated Machida. Fans, of course, booooed the decision. But the night featured nearly four hours of fights including a KO by Anthony Johnson. Joe Stevenson defeated Spencer Fisher, Chael Sonnen over Yushin Okami and Cain Velasquez over Ben Rothwell. The night's festivities would not be complete without a barrage of celebrities including Mr. and Mrs. Kutcher, the cast of Entourage, Michael Clark Duncan, Janet Jackson, and will.i.am. Here are the rest of the photos from the match. Also be sure to check out our slideshow of the after-party, which featured cameos from a few celebs you might recognize.

Mitsuwa Marketplace in Costa Mesa, hosted their Autumn Food Fair Thursday through Sunday. It featured all sorts of goodies like red bean paste-filled waffles, fish cakes, freshly made mochi, Tan Tan Men (noodleeees!) and okonomiyaki. All photos are brought to you by our food writer/blogger Edwin Goei–see the slideshow here.

Rapper Kid Sister paid a visit to the Detroit Bar in Costa Mesa on Friday night. Good times and dancing ensued. See for yourselves here!
